Day 19 Gunnison to Salida, CO 66 miles

This is the premiere day -- Monarch Pass -- and I'm riding with Jose, in his rental car. He has to leave for a few days to go to a family wedding. So we get to see a lot of our fellow riders experience the triumph of climbing almost 5,000 feet to the highest point on the entire trip.
